_An intimate odyssey through love
In an immersive space where spoken word, electronic music, and digital landscapes intertwine, Les Gens de la Pluie invites the audience on a unique sensory journey. These "people of the rain" are beings made of water who, when they cry, dissolve into their own tears to reimagine new ways of loving. As the audience moves through the space, the narrative unfolds in two voices—two sides of the same story—making each spectator the composer of their own journey. An intimate odyssey through love tested by time and the slow erosion of bodies.

Bliesbro (Nicolas Blies and Stéphane Hueber-Blies) is a duo of digital artists, directors, scriptwriters and film producers who create their work together. Multidisciplinary in its artistic approach, Bliesbro seeks to develop a form of “social poetry”.
In 2015, the duo conceptualized the documentary music transmedia Soundhunters in co-production with ARTE. Soundhunters was imagined to transform the world into an infinite musical instrument. The transmedia was released in 2015 in collaboration with many international artists including Jean Michel Jarre, Simonne Jones or Blixa Bargeld. In 2016, Bliesbro was invited to present its work at Lincoln Center during the New York Film Festival. The project was placed in 2016 under the high patronage of UNESCO.
In 2019, Bliesbro wrote and directed Zero Impunity about the impunity of sexual violence in wartime. Hybridizing animation and live action, the film is considered one of the precursors in the field, particularly for its ability to « Figuring the unmentionable ». The duo was invited by the Annecy International Animation Film Festival to participate in the traditional "Cinema Masterclass" of the festival to talk about the issue of "sexual violence in animation". In 2021, the film was nominated for the Trophées Francophones du Cinéma in the "Best Documentary" category.
In 2024, the duo released the digital art installation Ceci est mon coeur, about the reconciliation of a child with his body, mixing video-mapping and connected clothing. The World Premiere of Ceci est mon coeur took place during the Venice International Film Festival, then selected out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2025, the project was distinguished during the prestigious “Breakthroughs in Storytelling Awards” from Columbia University New York City.
